<p>The ceremony followed the successful completion of the Kenya Pipeline Company Initial Public Offering, which recorded a 105.7 percent oversubscription and raised KSh 112.374 billion, underscoring investor confidence in the company and Kenya's economic prospects.</p>
<p>Speaking during the ceremony, President Ruto said the listing of Kenya Pipeline Company is a powerful signal of the strength, confidence and maturity of Kenya's economy, and a major step in broadening citizen participation in strategic national assets.</p>
<p>Kenya Pipeline Company PLC Board Chair Mrs. Faith Bett-Boinett pledged the Board's commitment to steer the company as it transitions into a publicly traded regional energy infrastructure company. KPC PLC Managing Director Mr. Joe Sang said the listing cements a legacy built over 53 years of operational excellence.</p>
<p>The transaction also strengthens the Nairobi Securities Exchange as a platform for citizen ownership, long-term savings and domestic capital formation.</p>
